Our Mission

To glorify God by offering a service/product that establishes a long-term relationship between the client and us.

A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water, but a man of understanding draws it out. Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, But who can find a trustworthy man? A righteous man who walks in his integrity. Proverbs 20:5-7a

Soli Deo Gloria!

About Us

Rentfrow Design, LLC. was founded by Jon Rentfrow in 1995. Jon established the business to follow his passion for architecture. He has strived to develop a company that glorifies his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by focusing on maintaining long-term relationships with clients. Jon believes building a relationship begins with satisfying the customer with a design that meets their unique desires and personal lifestyles. Jon is a nationally recognized award-winning designer and is a Professional Member of the American Institute of Building Designers (AIBD). Jon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University in 1994. Jon works out of his personal residence to afford time with his wife, Elisha and five children, Nicholas, Jathan, Zekiah, Elliot, and Ariella. Jon enjoys riding his bike, playing softball, camping, and investing time at his church.

Alise Eitzen joined the Rentfrow team in 2012 before receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University in 2013. Originally from Estes Park, CO she grew up with a love for the mountains and felt drawn to design as a little girl. When designing homes, Alise enjoys that every project is unique and thrives on problem solving to meet each client’s specific needs with the final product being a beautiful and functional home. Alise and her husband, Jake live in Tucson, Arizona where they appreciate the casual outdoorsy lifestyle, mountain/desert landscape and colorful culture of the Southwest.

Design Philosophy

Design Philosophy

Rentfrow Design, LLC’s design philosophy is ‘Creating homes for the way your family lives.’  Our focus is in how your family really uses any given space.  It may be in how many cooks are the kitchen or how one goes about getting the laundry folded, or even the conversation of where you may put your Christmas tree.  We enjoy asking the ‘why’ questions when discussing your new home, not just how many or how big. We desire that your home fits your everyday needs and lifestyle, perfectly.

So, we are not only look at the design, but also the function of the space.  Traffic flow, possible furniture layouts, and physical space limitations are just some of the concepts that are evaluated when creating a floor plan.

We also value the idea of creating individual spaces in your home that one can escape to, such as a quiet reading area in the master suite or a window seat somewhere in the house. These getaway spaces are not to be large, but to be unique and strategically placed throughout the home.
